First time travelers to Wine Country. We reviewed Trip Advisor prior to booking, and 1801 First did not dissappoint!

We stayed in the Garden Room Suite out back - which was seperate from the main building and adjacent to the lovely patio. Our room was absolutely charming with fireplace and very comfortable bed.

All of the staff at the Inn were quite helpful booking tours, dinner reservations, hot air balloon rides and in room couples massage. Evening hor d’ouvres were tasty and plentiful. The breakfasts here are unmatched. Each morning we were treated to a well thought-out & decadent meal.

“This is indeed a luxury Bed and Breakfast with all the wonderful amenities in the room. The breakfast and evening appetizers with wine was first class. The staff were extremely helpful with tours, restaurant suggestions, etc.”

My wife and I spent a three day weekend in the Carriage House over labor day weekend. The staff was excellent and our room was great. The breakfasts are excellent. We definately would return. It is a top notch B&B.
